HVAC/DDC Technician

Amentum is seeking a qualified HVAC/DDC Technician to support the US-NATO facility in Brussels, Belgium. The selected candidate will report to US-NATO Facilities Supervisor. The duties and responsibilities listed below are not mutually exclusive.

Major Duties And Responsibilities
  • Operates, maintains and repairs direct digital control (DDC) systems.
  • Operates, maintains, and repairs water heaters, air handling units, VAV units and underfloor induction units, and related climate control equipment under the guidance of the US-NATO Facilities Supervisor.
  • Escort NATO personnel in adjacent technical spaces as required.
  • Performs preventive maintenance on all climate control systems and equipment in accordance with established schedules, operating procedures, and equipment warranties.
  • Analyzes malfunctions in heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems and equipment, and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
Qualifications
  • Licensed journeyman HVAC technician with a minimum of 4 years of experience with Building Automation Systems/Direct Digital Control Systems.
  • Familiar with the concept of Proportional Integral Derivative (PID) as it pertains to DDC.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in the operation, maintenance, and repair of climate control equipment including centrifugal chillers, boilers, pumps, air handler units, piping, heat exchangers, and associated equipment.
  • Completion of high school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to obtain and maintain Top Secret security clearance issued by the Department of State
