Great opportunity as Buyer - Indirect at BAXTER, pharmaceutical leader in Braine L’Alleud.

Role Responsibilities

• The role is part of Baxter’s Global Category Management Organization and reports to the EMEA Senior Manager HR & Professional services.
• Expected to lead/support Category Management activities for HR, Facilities and/or Professional services in EMEA.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders at various levels and Local Procurement teams to establish strategic and tactical objectives, define priorities and execute category management strategies.
• For his/her purchase portfolio, brings or build related market knowledge, execute and apply sourcing strategies
• Lead supplier selection process (RFI/RFP/RFQ), conduct negotiations and implement contracts.
• Support global initiatives (Digitalization, tools & process improvement)
• Manage supplier base and ensure that appropriate Supplier Relationship Management programs are in place for strategic vendors.

Profil

• Bachelor/Master degree in Finance, Engineering or Business, etc.
• Minimum 2 - 3 years of procurement experience with multinational organizations. Previous experience with HR services, Facility services or Professional services will be an asset
• Proven experience in stakeholder management
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural and matrix environment.
• Ability to work efficiently with virtual teams.
• Strong willingness to accept new challenges/tasks.
• Team player & collaborative
• Very good knoledge in English (fluent)
