Job description:

As Industrial Engineering Manager, reporting hierarchically to the Plant Director and in cooperation with the Central Manufacturing Engineering department, you will be responsible for the following activities:



  • Design, re-design and continuously revision of production processes to optimize ergonomics, maximize efficiency, improve flexibility and capacity and in general reduce waste
  • Development production standards, methods and operating procedures
  • Time studies and Motion studies within the plant, bottleneck management throughout the production process and line balancing / re-balancing (when needed)
  • Development of specifications for new machines and production lines and design review (in lights of the specifications defined) with external suppliers
  • Commissioning and acceptance of new production equipment
  • Study, development and implementation of technological upgrades
  • Early Equipment Management (EEM) pillar leadership within the World Class Manufacturing plant organization
  • Industrialization of new products and Engineering Change Requests from R&D and Quality departments
  • Implementation of Industry 4.0 and Digital Manufacturing initiatives
  • Support to plant layout design (or re-design) to improve and streamline flows



As our ideal candidate, your skillset includes:



  • Engineering degree and an experience of 3-5 years in similar roles in manufacturing companies
  • Knowledge on core production processes like metal stamping, welding, enameling, painting, polyurethane injection, assembly and automation
  • Time & Method studies methodologies (MTM-UAS is a plus)
  • Technical procurement and vendor management
  • Project and cost management
  • Drawing SW as Autocad/Cadra/Solidworks or 2D/3D technical design
  • Basics of World Class Manufacturing (or other continuous improvement approaches)
  • Basics of Safety and Environment concepts applied to production processes
  • Basics of statistical quality control, simulation and applied statistics
  • Basics of cost and performance accounting
  • Basics of mechanical, electrical, electronics and SW in the maintenance field
  • Robustness in analytics and problem solving, planning, time and deadlines management, communication and strong entrepreneurial mindset
  • Excellent communication skills in French and English (written and verbal)
