For the period September – December, Pionira is looking for a Technical Writing Intern.

Who are we? Pionira is an IT company that offers software for digital documents, with a focus on transport and logistics. You can find us at the O-Forty business center in Oostkamp.

What will you do as a Technical Writer Intern at Pionira?

  • Creating Manuals: Writing, designing, and illustrating user manuals and creating videos for our software products to enable our customers to become self-sufficient.
  • Collaborating: Working closely with other departments to gather all necessary information and translate it into clear instructions. An interest in IT and IT skills are a must. You want to know how things work and why they work that way.
  • Translating Content: Translating technical information into user-friendly manuals, written in English.
  • Coordinating Translations: Overseeing translations into Dutch and French; other European languages are a plus.
  • Updating Documentation: Regularly updating existing manuals to ensure high quality and relevance.
  • Managing Style Guidelines: Following and improving style guidelines to ensure accurate and consistent documentation.

What skills do you need?

  • You can write clear texts for an audience that is not IT-focused.
  • You have a strong knowledge of Dutch and English (especially written) and a good basic knowledge of French. Any other languages are a plus.
  • You are currently studying languages and can intern in the first semester (period negotiable).
  • You can travel to our office in Oostkamp (partial remote work possible).
  • You can quickly adapt to new digital tools.
