For a global leader with a turnover of 1 billion € and operating in 10 countries, we are looking for an International HR Director @ interim.

Start date: September.
Duration Assignment: 6 - 12 months.
Location: Antwerp or Germany with 30% international travel involved.

Profile

  • Master’s degree .
  • You are an HR-generalist with vision and a solid all-round HR experience within a multinational environment, having had HR-end responsibilities over different countries (combination of corporate expertise but also understanding / experience of SMEs).
  • Someone used to a fast environment with little processes in place.
  • You have demonstrable experience with restructuring (downsizing, reporting to foreign HQs, retention plan for key talents, union negotiations), integration exercises (processes, people, HRIS, Compensation & Benefits...).
  • You keep a cool head in challenging circumstances.
  • Ability to navigate in an environment with founders / CEO with one business having bought its competitors (for two of them, the predators have become preys, and they now need to work together after having been competitors).
  • Strategic and innovative thinker, able to understand the complexity of the context and able to provide practical, implementable solutions.
  • You communicate openly and diplomatically, with persuasiveness and impact, and maintain good relations with all interest groups in the organisation.
  • You are a hands-on and enterprising business partner of the CEO who is in touch with what is going on, takes ownership and anchors HR responsibilities throughout the organisation, an organiser and facilitator who correctly identifies HR needs and proposes efficient, tailor-made processes.
  • KPI-driven and an eye for a ’story’.
  • Result-oriented trackrecord.
  • Masters MS Office.
  • Languages: English/French/Dutch. German is a plus
