The global operating division Performance Materials with its headquarter at the BASF Belgium Coordination Center bundles BASF’s competencies in innovative plastics. It provides customer-oriented solutions for industries like automotive, construction, packaging, electrics and electronics, sports, footwear, wind and solar energy.ResponsibilitiesAs a trainee of the global communications team, you contribute to the internal and external communication of BASF’s Performance Materials division.
  • You will support the global communications team to develop and execute change & communication plans to engage leaders and employees.
  • You will be part of a working group to manage all internal communications channels including Yammer, intranet, newsletters and events.
  • You will support the optimization of content with high quality, strategic, impactful communications for a global audience.
  • You will be responsible to measure the effectiveness of internal communications and use these data to inform future communications.
  • You will be part of a global team in which you get to work with professionals in various work areas across regions.
  • You will be able to learn from, and exchange with colleagues from other communications disciplines, including digital, media relations and planning etc.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferably, you are a student in journalism, marketing, communications, languages or another related field.
  • Writing is your passion. A first experience in the field of communication or journalism is a plus.
  • You are fluent in speaking and writing in English.
  • You are able to work autonomously.
