Job Description:
As a Functional Analyst you work close together with your direct colleagues in the team as well as with people from system operations, other scrum teams, business departments and our external ICT partners.

As a Functional Analyst, you can perform functional analyses for applications hosted on the Mainframe and Pallas/BlueCap. This means you capture business requirements and translate these into functional specifications. You propose several alternatives and support business in choosing the best fit solution. You work closely together with the software engineers in your team.

In your role as Functional Analyst, you are responsible for:
• Translating the needs of the end user into a functional design
• Documenting process flows
• Testing software solutions
• Supporting our internal clients
• Contact with external partners
• Since most projects currently are situated on Pallas/BlueCap and Mainframe knowledge of that technology is a plus.

Context
• Investment Services, is the ART that covers the reporting and processing of investment advice. Investment Advice is a broad range of services focusing on all types of clients, Wealth, Private Banking and PALO. The main applications are probably well known and are available on Mobile and in Touch ’("Beleggen").
• This vacancy is situated in the BiiO delivery organization. BiiO stands for Business ICT Integrated Organization and can be considered as the “change” organization of Investment Services. It brings together business and ICT colleagues working on daily support and maintenance of business processes and applications, running feasibility studies and projects. We are hierarchically organized in 6 delivery teams.
• In our BiiO organization, we work fully SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework). BiiO and SAFe are relatively recently introduced, so there’s still room for optimizations and continuous improvement in our way of working, and keep on growing in efficiency and maturity. We might even have a challenge for you, participating in one of our strategic initiatives.
• Our teams are located in Belgium, Leuven, and also include colleagues of Brno (testing) and ICT colleagues from Cognizant (India and Spain).
• Obviously working from distance is a very common practice in our teams, also working from home is done frequently. Given these possibilities, we also expect some flexibility in practicalities.
• And last but not least, we believe having fun is an essential element to be effective and efficient, so we work hard to make Investment Services a fun place to work, and just to have fun.
