We are seeking a buyer in the IT field with a specific focus on IT services. This procurement category includes all sourcing activities for the selection and management of large external spending on external IT & digitalization resources.

As the buyer, you will be the internal business partner for all stakeholders involved in the management of different procurement files. You will find yourself at the center of the IT transformation program and all digitalization programs, which are at the heart of our strategy. Interacting and negotiating with our key offshore, nearshore, and onsite suppliers in this domain will be part of your day-to-day activities, striving for the best value procurement.

Tasks & Responsibilities

You will support the Procurement Manager in complex procurement files, working in close collaboration with the business units and cross-functional teams. Your goal is to create value, contribute to the company’s growth, and manage risks. You will provide guidance on the procurement procedure and negotiate with suppliers, respecting the client’s rules and regulations. You will manage the relationship with your most important suppliers (Supplier Relationship Management) aiming to create value.

You will maintain a constructive relationship with the different procurement teams, business lines, technical teams, and suppliers.

Profile

  • You are passionate/highly interested in ICT, Digital, and new technologies in general
  • You are eager to learn and develop new competencies
  • You speak French and/or Dutch and have an excellent level of English
  • You have strong analytical skills and enjoy managing complex procurement projects
  • You are a good communicator and negotiator, and you are results-oriented
  • You are a team player
  • You have experience in building and negotiating contracts
  • You manage risks and treat confidential information.
