NTT DATA is looking for a IT Team Leader/Project Manager to join our team in Brussels, to develop a long term IT career in a context of business growth in applications management.

The Project and Service Management processes are based on ITIL best practices, Agile principles and Project Management (PMP/Prince2).

YOUR ROLE:
Work with the client project/service managers to ensure the requests are clear and complete.
Work with the client project/service managers to agree the content of the releases and to plan the sprints.
Monitor the progress of the sprints to manage the client’s expectations (priorities, due dates, SLAs fulfillment) with both the development teams and the clients’ project/service managers.
Ensure the delivery of the requests included in each sprint on time and with the expected quality.
Monitor the implementation of the releases and support the users during the User Acceptance tests and Performance tests
Participate in assessment and consultancy activities included in the scope of the contract.
Participate and/or lead technical solution definition for defined requirements on the technological reference platform.

Additional Tasks and Responsibilities:
Pro-actively identify project/service improvements and lead the implementation of the approved initiatives.
Collaborate with the development team, managing the assignments of the resources, facilitating the resolution of doubts and supporting the knowledge acquisition.

As Project/Service Lead it may be necessary to:
Plan and schedule project/service timelines.
Track project/service deliverables using appropriate tools.
Provide direction and support to development team.
Verify the quality of the deliverables and the fulfilment of the acceptance criteria.
Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions.

YOUR PROFILE:
Education and Experience

Preferably University Degree in Computer Science
Qualification in project management or equivalent (PRINCE2, PMP, ITIL, others...)
Ability to lead and facilitate technical discussions with stakeholders (Internet applications mostly based in Java/SQL)
Proven experience in people management

Technical capabilities

Mandatory

Experience in software development (preferably in Java/SQL environments)
Experience in software deployment and release management
English at C level
Experience in Agile

Knowledge of some of the following technologies/products: Drupal, PHP, Composer, phing, GIT, Drone, Docker, Docker-compose, Behat, Selenium, BlackFire, NewRelic, Drush, Varnish, Jenkins, Redis, Solr, SaltStack, Zabbix, ElasticSearch Logstash Kibana
Knowledge of opensource tools as SVN, Maven, Testlink, etc
