In this “work hard, play hard” environment you will join our sales department within HARMAN Consumer Lifestyle, based in Belgium. We are looking to hire an enthusiastic and results driven:
Account Manager - Belgium
About the Role:
As an Account Manager you are responsible to drive sales (both sell-in and sell-out) through direct and indirect channels as well as online sales in Belium. You are responsible for building strong customer relationship, as well as for business development, distribution and prospecting in the market.
To be successful, your main focus is driving excellence at the point of sale in store and online to execute the objectives coming from the Sales Manager for all segments within the region.
What You Will Do:
Work in collaboration with the Supply Chain, Sales Support and Business Administration teams to Manage, nature and optimize existing account like: Specialists, Food Chain, and distribution relationships alongside new business development.
Design and implement the account plans for your region.
Monitor and report competitive trends and market developments and proposing strategies.
Manages the merchandising and promotional support for the relevant outlets.
Development of sell-out-oriented marketing activities for the accounts.
Analyzes sales results and adjust strategy accordingly.
Develop forecast for your accounts.
Focus on optimized product mix (push sales/volume/brand).
Acting as the escalation point for the Sales Support team when dealing with order related topics.
Work with the centralized supply chain team to monitor customer stock situation.
Reduce sales cost for cost optimization.
Utilize Salesforce to keep records of all customer contacts, sales proposals and conversation reports up to date.
What You Need:
At least 3 years of sales / account management experience within the retail / consumer electronics industry or high-tech industry and/or at a relevant customer.
Experience driving sell-out through retail, e-tail and online sales channels.
Sales drive and the ability to maintain and extend long term commercial relationships.
In depth knowledge of the customers in the region.
Excellent English and French/Flemis language skills in reading and skills.
Understanding of modern replenishment tools proven proficiency in MS Office.
