At VWR, part of Avantor, we are currently looking for a Account Manager to serve our customers in the Biopharma sector, region Flanders, Belgium.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- You will be responsible for further developing our activities in Biopharmaceutical companies (Pharma, Biotech, Universities and Research Laboratories).
- You build strong long term relationships with end-users in laboratories, researchers and procurement.
- You will be responsible for the sale of an extensive range of products (lab chemicals, -consumables, -equipment) and additional VWR services in the laboratories and other departments (production, warehouse) at your customers.
- Building up your own specific customer portfolio in Flanders.
- You are responsible for successfully achieving your sales targets.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
- You have successfully obtained a Bachelor in Biomedical Science, -Lab technology or similar studies.
- Work experience in a Life Sciences environment, research or pharmaceutical production or sales experience in the Biopharmaceutical sector is a strong asset.
- You have an outspoken commercial attitude and are a strong team player.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English, good knowledge of French is a big advantage.
- PC knowledge: Outlook, MS Office
- SAP/CRM knowledge is a plus
