A new AGC dedicated structure called Mobility Business Development Office has been created in order to take the lead on start-up activities of AGC Automotive Europe. For example our WIDEYETM start-up creates new solutions for the autonomous vehicles (https://www.wideye.vision).

Within our global commercial team, the Wideye® Account Manager will define and execute the commercial strategy for the assigned customers & markets. He or she will be the voice of the customer in the Wideye organization and in this role a major contributor to the direction that the growing Wideye team is taking.

The Wideye® Account Manager mission :

Accompany our customers throughout the Customer Journey, to make sure they get the right support.

  • Manage tenders from RFQ up to the contract negotiation, including technical, logistical and economic proposals. Prepare & present the business case to management.
  • Co-actor in the Wideye Program Management System: define with the program team what is the optimal solutions from economical, technical, quality and timing points of view.
  • Contract and price negotiations.
  • Represent Wideye towards the customer in case of major issues in quality, logistics, development, payment of invoices
  • Responsible for developing new business opportunities with Wideye existing and targeted customers (OEM, Tier 1’s and sensor technology start-ups).
  • Contribute to the Wideye commercial strategy (market segmentation, pricing, Go-to-market strategy)
  • Prepare, monitor and adjust the mid-term sales budget in line with the set strategy.
  • Database maintenance & Competitive Intelligence : Listen, observe, search, enquire about competitor/customer strategy, products and development. Share the relevant information inside Wideye in order to stimulate the development or implementation of the team’s adequate competitive advantages

  • You are an excellent communicator: assertive yet diplomatic. Able to forge agreements that are supporting the objectives of Wideye while meeting customer expectation.
  • Proven experience with building up long term relationships and closing business
  • Team player, putting Wideye team achievement first and taking the lead when needed
  • Proactive, autonomous and agile with a problem-solving mindset
  • Master degree in business engineering, economics, engineering, ...
  • 5 years’ experience in a similar position, preferrable at a major automotive tier 1 active in exterior systems.
  • Fluent in English, other language are a plus (German, French, Japanese, Chinese, … )
  • IT-literate (Office, SAP)
  • Willingness to travel within Europe or Internationally
