Accounting Manager - Brussels

Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for an Accounting Managerfor a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the telecom sector.

As Accounting Manager you will be responsible for:

• Organizing the monthly and yearly end closing in compliance with applicable laws, management and Group requirements;
• Leading the statutory closing process (annual accounts, management report, works counsel report, …) of all legal entities including financial audit;
• Ensuring systematic reconciliation of all general ledger accounts and adequate supporting documentation related to the specific accounting activities allocated;
• Complying with all local, national and international Tax obligations for entities, manages tax controls. Coordinate the specific tax projects;
• Ensuring end to end completeness, accuracy, existence, proper valuation and presentation of accounting flows (generated by TOPAS, treasury system TMT… towards SAP), for the purpose of accurate and timely monthly closings;
• Coordinating, prioritizing and confirming value of users’ requests in domains of SAP, TM1 and related systems as well as evaluate & prioritize new finance business requirements;
• Organizing and managing the accounts payable flow and ensuring end to end accounts payable processing including business expenses and equipment shipment related activities. This together with manual accounts receivables for all entities;
• Providing support to new business initiatives (tax support, review of financial data).

The required profile for theAccounting Manager position:

• You have a master degree in Accounting;
• You have 5 years’ experience in management of an accounting team and in management of finance projects;
• You possess good organizational skills;
• You are accounting pro-efficient;
• You are a tax expert;
• You possess good communication & analytical skills;
• You are an expert in SAP and other financial system.
