Robert Half is currently recruiting an Accounting Manager for a company situated in the region of Lier.

Our client is active in the logistics industry.

Your main accountabilities for this function:

Accounting (80%)

  • Supervise and guide a team of 3 employees;
  • Check and process invoices, after registration in SAP;
  • Prepare and process details needed for (monthly & annual) financial statements;
  • Maintain communication with management (external) account managers, tax authorities and bankings;
  • Prepare periodic reports and financial analyses. Stock administration at the end of the year;
  • Have a strategic and analytical vision of the global financial policy and are responsible for the improvement of its internal processes between the different departments;
  • Be the contact for various partners such as insurance, leasing, bank, employment agencies and auditors;
  • Monthly closing in a timely and correct manner, VAT declarations at home and abroad, tax declarations, external audits and reporting;
  • Perform the complete year-end closing, including the layout and filing thereof;
  • You are responsible for a perfect representation of the company on the balance sheet/results account;
  • Analyze and interpret the financial feasibility and relevance of possible investments;
  • Detailed cash flow and follow up all the different currencies;
  • You are responsible for the prevention file within the company. You are willing to obtain the necessary certificates;
  • You act and manage according to the core values of the company.

Personnel administration / Salary administration (20%)

  • Managing the administrative system for human resources;
  • Providing figures and reports relating to HR;
  • Monitoring various contracts (personnel insurance policies, pension insurance);
  • You are responsible for the vehicle fleet, insurances, policies, telephony and have sufficient knowledge of this;
  • Implementing the employment conditions;
  • Managing the details according to a schedule to ensure salaries are processed and paid in a timely manner.

The qualifications necessary for this function are:

  • Having experience in overseeing the accountancy;
  • Knowledge of the SAP program is a big plus;
  • You have ambition, are spunky en love working in team.
