Dark Light is a staffing agency specializing in the recruitment and outsourcing of data and business intelligence profiles. We are currently seeking a Supply Chain Analytics Lead for one of our clients, a growing manufacturing company in West Flanders. This role will have a significant impact on the division. If you have knowledge and experience in analytics, supply chain, and SAP, then this role is definitely of interest to you!Tasks
  • As an Analytics Lead, you will be responsible for the entire process, from analyzing the needs of internal clients to providing solutions.
  • You are able to convert data into actionable insights and develop and test solutions, ensuring the necessary training.
  • Additionally, you actively contribute to the building and maintenance of various datasets, possessing in-depth knowledge of the data sources and how to load them into our datasets to ensure a single source of truth.
  • You monitor the impact of potential changes to datasets resulting from business process changes and ensure the quality of our reported data.
  • You collaborate with a team consisting of a young graduate and a consultant, taking the lead in setting the right priorities and monitoring team members.
  • Furthermore, you have your own priorities within the datasets, where you maintain a deeper understanding. Projects are tracked and prioritized in sprints, in collaboration with the Analytics Manager.
  • You regularly communicate with the business SPOCs and play a crucial role within the business unit.
  • You come together on a sprint basis to share best practices, both within your own team and with the cross-divisional Analytics team.
  • You ensure that the documentation is up to date, making it easy for the business to find what is available.
  • Additionally, you contribute to the further development of our Analytics model by keeping up with new developments such as machine learning and predictive algorithms.
  • You also critically assess how we can continuously improve our operations for the benefit of the business.
Requirements
  • You hold a master’s degree or an equivalent qualification through experience.
  • You have experience with supply chain processes.
  • You have a strong analytical mindset and can establish clear connections between processes.
  • You work with precision and efficiency, paying attention to detail without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Experience with Power BI is required, but you are not solely a back-end profile. You have a business affinity and can assist the business in defining clear reporting requirements and generating initial proposals with limited information.
  • You have a strong affinity for data and IT.
  • Familiarity with SAP as an ERP system is a plus, given its central importance for our data.
  • You have a strong sense of responsibility to strengthen the business by providing faster and better insights.
  • You are capable of contributing to and directing the Analytics agenda of the team. In addition to your own projects, you can oversee and follow up on the work of a young graduate and a consultant.
  • You possess critical thinking and reasoning skills, enabling you to prioritize effectively for the team and yourself.
  • You are self-directed, resilient to stress, and a team player.
  • You speak fluent English.
