LVMI-Europe is currently offering an Internship

The intern will take the position of assistant at the institute for the period between 25th January and 1stMay 2022 with a possibility to extend the period.

The Ludwig von Mises Institute-Europe was officially established on October 12th, 2002 as a nonpartisan think-tank fostering an open and free society. It bears the name of Ludwig von Mises, one of the most prominent liberal economists of the whole XX century, and one of the main representatives of the Austrian School of Economics.

Since its foundation, the LVMI-Europe has successfully organized a variety of conferences, symposia, discussions, targeted dinner debates and lunch debates, discussing topics such as the role of the EU, Knowledge & Innovation, Transatlantic Relations, Tax Competition, better Regulation, Islam and the EU, FTT, IT Regulation and Entrepreneurship.

The Ludwig von Mises Institute-Europe is dedicated to bridging the gap between believers in the free market across artificial boundaries that often divide academic, business, and political circles.

Tasks

  • Updating the institute’s accounts
  • Answering emails
  • Prepare invitations and newsletters
  • Attend to other institutes conferences and produce a report of it
  • Help in the organization of events
  • Help to prepare a publication
  • Help with a research project

Requirements:

  • Student following a Master in European Studies, Economy or in a similar field
  • Fluent in English, with additional languages as an asset
  • Motivated and eager to learn every day
