Within the BeLux BMS Value, Access and Pricing department, we are looking for a

ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR, MARKET ACCESS LEAD IMMUNOLOGY & CARDIOVASCULAR

The mission of the Market Access Lead Immunology & Cardiovascular is to ensure best strategic decisions considering WW strategy, local environment & portfolio management. The Market Access Lead Immunology & Cardiovascular is a key contributor in the Belgian team. The function reports directly to the Value, Access and Pricing (VAP) Director.

Main Responsibilities
  • The Market Access Lead Immunology & Cardiovascular is responsible for defining strategic scenario in line with WW strategy, local environment and portfolio management, together with the Value, Access and Pricing (VAP) Director
  • Lead, develop and motivate a team of Market Access managers
  • With the Market Access managers, analyze the medical data, epidemiology and pricing policy to evaluate with precision patients potential, budget impact and related reimbursement criteria
  • Tailor value propositions and deliver solutions to local payer needs that drive access and uptake of BMS brands
  • Coordinate P&R submissions and lead negotiations with payers
  • Participate in country brand teams as required. Ensure good cross-functional collaboration with sales & marketing, medical departments, governmental affairs and HEOR
  • External Identify target customers and gather intelligence on their needs, priorities, influencers and the local competitive environment
  • External encourage early payer interaction to prepare market access environment for product launch through stakeholder mapping, early payer communication plan and communication tools.
  • External manage relationships with reimbursement authorities and stakeholders to ensure optimal outcomes for BMS brands and portfolio
  • Develop and maintain a seamless interface with Global Pricing and WW Market Access groups to ensure local requirements are represented effectively and early, and that pricing strategies are aligned
Experiences & Knowledge Desired
  • Fluent in English, French and/or Dutch
  • Academic level, minimally a Master degree in Life Sciences or in Economy/Business
  • A deep understanding of the Belgian healthcare system including coverage and reimbursement, pricing, health technologies assessment
  • Previous significant experience in Market Access or governmental affairs or in a Health care environment
  • Proven track record of inspiring and leading teams through change to meet/exceed expectations and goals
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, provide guidance and motivate people
  • Ability to manage large team and large portfolio
  • Able to demonstrate strong capabilities to work in a complex matrix structure with different functions and brands including integrated Market Access approach among Market Access disciplines
  • Experience in the business negotiations and group presentations
  • Understanding of Bristol-Myers Squibb products and its priority business objectives
  • Mastery of verbal and written communication skills. PC knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint,…).
