The World Without Disease Accelerator (WWDA) Immunosciences Team is recruiting a temporary (2Y) Associate Scientist located in Beerse, Belgium.
We are looking for a highly motivated Associated Scientist to support assay development enabling detection of signaling pathway activation in ex vivo samples. This position requires expertise in multiple immunoassays (ELISA, MSD and/or Luminex) while experience with IHC or FACS is also of interest. He/she should also have extensive experience with mammalian cell culture. The Associate Scientist will be responsible for independent execution and analysis of results.

Responsibilities include:
- Biochemical analysis on Tissue/Plasma/Serum/SN/cells using Western blotting, ELISA/MSD/Luminex, Cell death (Incucyte), flowcytometric analysis, immunofluorescent staining, immunohistochemistry
- Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture work
- Experience in animal handling (mouse) is a plus
- Knowledge of molecular techniques (transfection, transduction, immunoprecipitation) is a plus
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Managing and planning of multiple experiments
- Collaborate with scientists in multiple disciplines
- Experience with Microsoft Office Excel, Word and statistical analysis software
