Marriott Ghent is now looking for a banqueting Hostto join the team.

As abanqueting host, you will work with the wider FB team to ensure our guests have the perfect experience within our hotel.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic banqueting host (m / f) to take care of our meetings, receptions and dinners at the Ghent Marriott hotel.
Are you able to perform all events to perfection?
Do you have the right communication skills and do you speak both Dutch and English?
Are you flexible in working hours and can you work excellently in a team context? As a banqueting host you are partly responsible for the organisation of the banquets and meetings in the hotel:
You will make every effort to meet all guest requirements and you strive to exceed the guest’s expectations.
You set up the meeting rooms in the desired arrangement, you provide the necessary coffee breaks, lunches and dinners and you clear the meeting rooms after the event. You will always look for the best solutions, you have a positive attitude and you are proud of your job.

To be successful in this role,
You will have previous experience within a similar role, preferably within the branded market.
You will be passionate about providing an exceptional guest experience and living through our brand standards.
