Your future job

Melexis is a leader in design and manufacturing of semiconductors, sensor ICs, and sensor IC systems for automotive, medical, home technology and smart appliances market. As a Business Analyst you will support the process of consolidating, analyzing and interpreting business related data that affect Melexis top and bottom line. You have a bridging role between the Financial Planning & Analysis team and Data Engineering (IT) team.

More specifically, you will:

  • Work with the data engineering team on data architecture and business intelligence towards corporate financial and non-financial reporting
  • Work with management teams to develop performance reports and metrics for use in long-term, annual and quarterly planning
  • Track and report KPI’s and other information for your business area, contribute to the definition of improvement actions derived from the data analysis and monitor of the progresses of derived actions
  • Support investment decisions with detailed analysis
  • Ensure that all available intelligence is integrated in mid and long term business forecasting process (X+3 / X+5)
  • Assist in the consolidation of annual budgets, quarterly forecasts and monthly reporting
  • Complete ad hoc projects and analysis requests

Your profile

  • University degree in Economics, preferably master in Business and Information Systems Engineering
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Fluency in English
  • Experience in Cost Accounting/Financial Analysis/Controlling is a plus
  • Proficient with Excel, Powerpoint
  • Experience with SQL and BI
  • Knowledge of Python
  • Ability to work effectively in an international and multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to achieve results through project, process and network driven organizational setups
