Business Analyst

Ahead Digital, an agency specialized in digital strategy based in Brussels and Paris, is looking for a Business Analyst, for a position to be filled as soon as possible in Brussels.

As part of a mission realized at one of our main customers, you will join a team, composed of Technical and Creative talents.

Your challenge? You will be in charge to create new functionalities related to credit and debit cards on the mobile application such as reactivation, access changes and so on.

You will continuously ensures value creation for stakeholders throughout the agile lifecycle by :

• Providing your expertise and coordinate the analyze and refinement process of the Epic ;
• Gathering, understanding and challenging the needs of a diverse set of external and internal stakeholders ;
• Consolidating and standardizing stakeholder requirements in order to supply the delivery team, while taking into account technical and process difficulties ;
• Preserving the E2E value of the delivered solution.

Your main tasks will be to :

• Gather, challenge and consolidate the pain points and business needs of a diverse set of internal and external stakeholders and gain extensive expertise on the subject at hand;
• Work in close collaboration with the relevant experts to support and challenge them with defining the product concept, detailed processes and/or conceptual and functional architecture;
• Involve external and/or internal end-users to identify, confirm and validate the business needs and pain points, this in collaboration with the UX researcher and in support of the Product Owner;
• Support the Product Owner with backlog prioritization and refinement;
• Define the acceptance criteria;
• Identify the dependencies between the different project stakeholders and provide the necessary communication/information;
• Provide support during business and user testing and assists with the organization of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where applicable;
• Support the Change Manager and the Go-To-Market Manager with preparing change and go-to-market activities;
• Actively monitors the success of new solutions based on KPIs and derives potential improvements from this, that are in turn added to the Cluster or Squad backlog

You have been working as a confirmed business analyst with at least 6 years of experience.

Technical skills

• Experience with Business Analysis methods & techniques such as elicitation techniques, Impact mapping, story mapping, design thinking;
• Experience with conceptual modelling techniques and methods;
• Experience of identifying system and structure improvements: you will have to exchange with architects and understand data flows via APIs, microservices, etc;
• Experience in financial services Banking with a focus on digital journey definition and implementation within the customer channels;
• Good understanding of work flow processes;
• Good understanding of business architecture;
• Ability to anticipate and adapt to the effects of change, and think “out of the box”;
• Experience in Agile methodologies (is definitively a +);
• Product knowledge of Cards (credit, debit cards,...) would be a plus;
• Good expertise in MS Office;
• Good understanding of IS and testing;
• Trilingualism is mandatory (Dutch, French, English).
