Our people are our most valuable asset. To support and reinforce our Finance team we are looking for a Business Controller CEE-CMF-Nordics.

Job Purpose

As our Business Controller you contribute to the overall success of the organization by effectively managing all financial matters for the respective business units of the Europe Division. He or she acts as a financial business partner to the General Manager CEE-CMF-Nordics and to the team.

Main responsibilities and key tasks
  • Actively partner with the General Manager(s) to deliver the BU’s and Customer Financial KPI’s (Top- and Bottom-line targets; DSO & AR targets; Forecast accuracy, etc.)
  • Deliver excellent Financial Planning & Analysis (Reporting, Forecasting, Planning)
  • Proactively provide financial support to strategic and operational decision making at BU/Customer level
  • Analyze and interpret commercial, operational & financial data
  • Translate this data into timely, structured, and comprehensible sales, profitability and cost center reporting & analyses
  • Control, challenge, advise and clearly communicate these analyses to the General Manager and FP&A Director
  • Act as a catalyst and drive the sales budget, forecast and estimates
  • Develop financial models and simulate multiple scenarios for business opportunities and special projects (e.g. for pricing, new product launches, investment projects etc.), incl. NPV, IRR and Pay-back calculation
  • Develop sustained financial analysis, advise and controls to commercial activity (calculation of anticipated contract margin, scenario analysis, ad hoc reports) & other sales & marketing related projects
  • Support business leaders during project execution with financial analysis and KPI monitoring
  • Perform a post-investment analysis after project finalization
Job Requirements
  • Masters degree in finance
  • 5+ years work experience with proven track record in financial planning & analysis
  • Experience with BI systems and strong MS office skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
  • Strong business acumen, customer/consumer oriented
  • Accurate and excellent analytical skills
  • A true team player
  • Fluent in English
