On a day-to-day basis, delaware’s Financial Controllers are tasked withoverseeing accounting functions, integrating finance operations, forecasting and budgeting and so on.

As a part of our internal team, you will be working together with your colleagues mainly in Kortrijk or in Ghent.

  • Your main focus will be on project and solution controlling & reportingtaskssuch as margin analysis, project risks evaluation, actuals vs budget analysis, sales price analysis, forecasting… but next to that, you will also assist the business with ad hoc requests. Variety is guaranteed!
  • You’ll take ownership of a number of dedicated reports and processes during closingand provide financial support and information during budget rounds.
  • You’ll act as the point of contact for our business when they require financial services. This involves helping them to interpret or analyse KPI reporting, delivering insights, suggesting improvements,…

Are you the business controller we are looking for?

  • Have you held positions similar to this one? We’re looking for someone with at least4 years of experience in controlling, accounting or auditing. Or maybe you’re an SAP FICO consultant, eager to switch to an internal role? Either way, experience in a controlling or audit function is crucial. If you already know your way around in SAP, that’s a definite plus.
  • You hold a Master’s degree in Business / Applied Economics, Corporate Finance, or Business Engineering
  • Would you say you have excellent communication skills? You express yourself fluently in English and Dutch or French.
