SMOVE. CITY is a rapidly growing European start-up that aims to revolutionize urban mobility by providing sustainable and affordable e-mobility solutions. Our mission is to create a greener and smarter urban environment by offering accessible, efficient, and eco-friendly transportation options. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Business Developer Intern to join our team in Brussels and help us expand our presence in the city.

Tasks

Responsibilities:
As a Business Developer Intern at SMOVE. CITY Brussels, you will be responsible for:

1. Market research and analysis: Conduct in-depth research and analysis of the local market, competitors, and potential partners to identify opportunities and challenges for SMOVE. CITY in Brussels.
2. Partnership development: Identify, reach out to, and engage with potential partners such as local businesses, universities, and government agencies to establish mutually beneficial relationships.
3. Client acquisition: Develop and execute strategies to acquire new clients for SMOVE. CITY’s services in the Brussels region.
4. Promotion and marketing: Develop and implement creative marketing strategies to promote SMOVE. CITY’s brand and services in Brussels, both online and offline.
5. Project management: Assist with the planning, implementation, and monitoring of various business development projects in the city.
6. Reporting and documentation: Prepare regular reports and updates on the progress and results of your business development efforts.
7. Collaboration: Work closely with the SMOVE. CITY team, providing support and input on various aspects of the business.

Requirements

Requirements:
1. Currently enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English, French and Dutch.
3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct research and analyze data.
4. A self-starter with a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
5. Passionate about sustainable urban mobility and an interest in learning about the e-mobility industry.
6. Familiarity with digital marketing tools, social media platforms, and CRM systems is a plus.
