Job Description:
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Functional Analyst to join our team. As a Functional Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between business requirements and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for software development or system enhancements.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand and document current business processes, workflows, and pain points.
  • Conduct interviews, workshops, and observations to elicit and analyze business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations for optimizing business processes.
  • Translate business requirements into clear and comprehensive functional specifications for software development or system enhancements.
  • Document user stories, use cases, process flows, and other artifacts to define functional requirements.
  • Work closely with developers and technical teams to ensure the accurate interpretation and implementation of functional requirements.
  • Analyze existing systems and applications to identify gaps, limitations, and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to define system interfaces, data flows, and integration points.
  • Assist in developing test scenarios, test cases, and conducting system testing to validate functional requirements.
  • Facilitate discussions and workshops to gather feedback, clarify requirements, and address any issues or concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Agile knowledge.
  • Proficient in requirements gathering techniques, such as interviews, workshops, and user story mapping.
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar project management and collaboration platforms.
  • Familiarity with relational databases and SQL programming.
  • Knowledge of process modeling techniques and tools (e.g., BPMN, UML,Visio) is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Languages: English, French and Dutch are required.
