International leaders in the design, manufacture, maintenance, rehabilitation and supply of all types of rolling stock material (very high-speed trains, high-speed trains, regional and suburban trains, coaches, airport shuttles, trams & LRVs and locomotives), equipment and components for railway systems. This Spanish company with approximately 8000 employees worldwide work on about 80 projects spread out over 33 countries. More recently an office has been established in Belgium, Brussels. CAF Belgium has been chosen to design and manufacture 43 new metro’s for the city of Brussels which are currently being produced in our factory in Beasain (Spain). Next to this, other projects in Flanders (148 trams with De Lijn) and Wallonia will start in 2019.
