Contenuto del lavoro

CAR-T is an advanced therapy that uses the patient’s own immune system to fight the disease. The patient’s T-cells are genetically modified to eliminate cancer cells. This groundbreaking, innovative technology offers a hopeful outlook to patients for whom other therapies have no or insufficient effect.

The Vein to Vein team’s patient-centric work is right in the middle of the action supporting both the Clinical & Commercial organizations early on from patient enrollment and order submission through to the treatment delivery and patient infusion. Our team plans demand actualization for cryopreservation and manufacturing on by-patient basis as well as the logistics of the patient material. We also manage the Chain of Identity and Chain of Custody for each patient and support the Customer Order Management Process. As our network continues to expand, the team is involved in the hospital site certification process.

This role is a people leader role of Vein to Vein planners linked to the new Ghent manufacturing facility. This individual will work together with the team to build effective planning and logistics processes to ensure smooth day-to-day operations for the patient material journey once the facility launches. This will require strong collaboration to align with all partners as well as a digital approach to avoid manual processes. Besides building the processes, this individual will also be responsible for ensuring those processes are performed and continuously improved. Additionally, this individual will be expected to ensure successful launches out of Ghent – both in a clinical and commercial setting.
