About The Role

As a Characterization Engineer, you’ll engage with application engineers and customers, playing a crucial part in testing, validating, and enhancing our advanced image sensors. Work alongside a talented team while enhancing your technical prowess.

Key responsibilities

  • Perform electro-optical characterization of image sensors
  • Validate the functionality of new designs and processes
  • Optimize operating conditions and identify performance limitations
  • Investigate and resolve image artifacts
  • Develop new test methods and measurement systems
  • Prepare detailed technical reports
  • Communicate with customers and discuss test results

What we’re looking for

We seek a driven professional with a strong technical background and passion for innovation:

  • Master’s degree in (Micro)Electronics, Physics, Photonics, Nanotechnology, or a related field
  • Strong interest in experimental work and hands-on testing
  • Analytical mindset with a problem-solving attitude
  • Proficiency with lab equipment and measurement systems is a plus
  • Strong communication skills and team-working capability
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written)
