A company active in the FMCG sector is currently looking to hire a Chief Information Officer to join their offices in Brussels. The Chief Information Officer (CIO) will oversee the strategic development, operational delivery, and use of information technology and data across the company. Reporting to the CEO, the role will act as a key advisor on information technology, data, digital transformation strategy, and related high-risk technology matters.

Your main responsibilities as the new Chief Information Officer will include:
  • Responsible for information technology for the company and all IT operations and services
  • Responsible for the development of an IT strategy and delivery of any transformation programmes to support and enable change across the company
  • Develop and promote a culture and vision for information technology with a tech-forward business strategy to support transformation and innovation within the team.
Your Profile
  • You have a Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant technical discipline
  • You have a proven experience as CIO or similar role
  • You are fluent in English, knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus
Your Strengths
  • You have experience in strategic leadership and management of information services
  • You can communicate and promote the adoption of technology within the company
  • You are an established technologist with significant experience operating at C-suite/executive management level
