Job Description

Within the planning department organization of Soignies we have a vacancy for a:

Coating Production Planner

The main missions of the Coating Production planner based in the planning team of our plant in Soignies, Belgium :
  • Planning the total flow of coating operations of the Soignies plant.
Being Responsible For
  • Sustainable high service levels within the flow, with high responsiveness.
  • Planning the coating assets within the flow in line with the service policy.
  • Planning and forecasting the inventories of finished goods and intermediates within the flow in line with the targets.
  • Initiate and contribute to continuous improvement of the planning processes.
  • Responsible for the planning parameters within the flow.
  • Identify and resolve issues within the flow
Qualifications
  • Daily planning and execution:
  • Communicating with CSRs, sales, marketing , operations and quality, planning and shipping departments
  • Daily replenishment execution using ERP systems
  • Participation in the MDI meetings and support continuous improvement.
  • Daily management of capacity in coating planning and alignment with operations and customer service.
  • Daily alignment with central and local raw material teams
  • Other:
  • All administrative tasks needed to execute and control.
  • Manage trade offs on coating planning priorities to balance costs and manage lead times and service to customers.
  • Daily accurate and responsive communication
  • Report, analyze and act on processes and metrics.
  • We are looking for candidates with:
  • University education in the direction of Logistical, Technical Business Administration, International Business or Engineering.
  • You have 5 years or more experience in the area of Supply Chain and production planning in an international manufacturing company.
  • Proficient understanding of the concepts, practices and procedures of Supply Chain, Materials Management and Logistics in all related focus areas.
  • Process oriented and results driven with excellent problem solving abilities.
  • Can work under time pressure.
  • Customer oriented and flexible.
  • Service minded, excellent communication skills in English on all levels.
  • Excellent analytical skills and reporting systems knowledge.
  • ELS education / certification preferred.
  • Professional understanding and experience on Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
  • Self-energized and motivated to grow.
