Project/Department Description and responsibilities

In order to increase the vaccination degree in the Brussels region, many decentralized activities are being deployed. Our client is currently looking for a Medior Communications Officer to make all initiatives happening from a communication point of view. Providing support to the vaccination team in preparing all local actions: ensures that the right communication material is prepared (letters, flyers, beach flags,…) and provided to all local actions, following up the entire process on raising awareness for the Brussels region.

Primary Tasks and responsibilities

You follow up all kinds of meetings with the Project Manager Communication Vaccination raising awareness within different population groups

·

You map various agencies and associations that can use your help.

·

You initiate and maintain contact with the above mentioned.

·

You go a step further and look next to the intermediary channels (doctors, pharmacists, physiotherapists, health insurance companies,...) also to other institutions that are more difficult to reach out to, to be able to raise awareness (foreign speakers, refugees, homeless,…).

·

You sit together with various authorities and associations and you build a communication strategy where you respond to their needs.

·

Together with the communication team, you provide all kinds of awareness tools (off- and online, per ex: posters, brochures, leaflets, videos,…) and you ensure that they are all in line with the general communication and awareness strategy & procedure and are compliant with the latest updates of the epidemiological situation.

Requirements

Profile requirements

·

Excellent knowledge of Communication

·

Excellent knowledge of Project Management

·

Very good knowledge of Social context within the Brussels region, charity & volunteer’s associations is very big plus

·

Very good awareness of sensitive content/information & subjects such as Health related matters, Immigration or Political issues

·

Very good knowledge of institutional communication within Belgium and Brussels in particular

·

Very good of reporting & administration linked to communication activities

·

Good knowledge for external communication (studies in Diplomacy or Political Science is a plus)

·

Very good knowledge/experience with different media channels

·

Excellent creative skills proven by experience

·

Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office

Able to think and act in a proactive and innovative way, while taking into account the peculiarities of our sector and all the actors of our highly regulated context.

Diplomatic way of communication: internal and external,

Passionate about the transition from paper to digital

·

Passionate about the topics and news related to health.

Methodology/Certification requirements

·

Master’s degree in related discipline

Language proficiencies

·

FR + Dutch is a must

·

Very good notion of ENG
