They coach teams; establish program performance metrics; and establish process excellence supports.What You Will Be Doing

• You are responsible for the progress made in terms of the roll out of the Continuous Improvement program.
• In doing so, you work very closely with company management to define, work out and follow up the necessary steps.
• Together with the team you are responsible for managing and supervising the implementation of various Continuous Improvement tools, actions and projects within Oostkamp with a view to achieving desired (financial) results and maintaining/improving the Oostkamp STAR level.
• You will report to the Continuous Improvement manager,
• You ensure the continuous training and development of all employees in the use of Continuous Improvement tools as well as the improvement of the continuous improvement culture.
• You will create, plan, and follow up on the Continuous Improvement implementation strategy, supervise Kaizen events and workshops, and help ensure that the improved situations and Continuous Improvement culture are secured.
• You share best practices and may also be responsible for supporting Continuous Improvement implementations in other sites within the business unit. You ensure that changes are implemented on time, within budget and with lasting results. You provide the necessary reporting at EMEA, Global or Corperate level regarding the status of Continuous Improvement in Oostkamp

RequiredWhat your background should look like:

• You have experience in Value Stream Mapping and/or are interested in learning more about it through training.
• You have several years of relevant experience.
• You have the necessary patience, perseverance and drive.
• You bring the right Continuous Improvement charisma and act as a role model.
• You can rely on strong organization, communication and leadership skills.
• You have a strategic/analytical mindset combined with an execution mentality.
• You have strong language skills (Dutch and English).
• You are willing to travel abroad for several days to other sites within the business unit.

It would be considered an advantage, if you also have:

• You have experience in Six Sigma (minimum Greenbelt).
• Technical skills/knowledge/experience, since you will be working on a Plant.
• Project leader experience/knowledge.
• 5-10 years of experience working on Continuous improvement, or as a Site leader.
