Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Controlling Managerfor a permanent position based in Brussels.

Our client is a fast growing company active in the retailsector.

As Controlling Manageryou will be responsible for:

Financial analysis and reporting:
- Follow up of KPI’s;
- Review and improvement of various controlling and accounting processes;
- Balance sheet analysis (stock, receivables, provisions…);
- Cash-flow analysis;
- Supervision of the financial audit of subsidiaries;
- Calendar/information manager;

Tax and accounting:
- Supervision of accounting of holding companies (internal and external team);
- Assist in the preparation and review the tax statements;
- Assistance for tax controls;

Corporate, Governance and projects:
- Management of holding companies and shareholders agreement;
- Management of financial structure of entities included in the scope;
- Ad-hoc projects (including potential due diligence or cash-flow projection);

External communication:
- Prepare all supports for external communication (banks, third parties);

Consolidation
- Provide the financial statements for the consolidated Group in accordance with Group accounting policies (BE GAAP and FR GAAP) and relevant reporting & tax disclosures ;
- Provide the internal reporting on a monthly basis;
- Ensure and maintain compliance with policies & procedures;
- Coordinate external auditor review process;
- Manage a consolidation specialist who will assist you in your daily tasks;
- Update and maintain the IT tool in support of the IT team.

The required profile for the Controlling Managerposition:

You obtained a university degree in economics or finance or equivalent qualification;
You have minimum 7 years relevant experience in consolidation or as audit manager. Experience in controlling or tax is a plus;
Strong analytical mindset;
Assertive, proactive, methodical / planned, attention to detail;
Good interpersonal and communication skills and strong team-player;
Result oriented and committed, respectful of deadlines and instructions;
Knowledge in SAP and SAP BO FC is an asset;
Fluent in French and English.
