Mission

  • Strategy development & coordination of SN Corporate and LHG sustainability objectives.
  • Align internal and external stakeholders making sure the strategy execution is followed up.
  • Coordinate all Sustainable projects/programs within SN through a transparent PMO governance.
  • Close cooperation with all LHG companies for benchmarking- and alignment purposes.

Key Result Areas

Strategy development & coordination

  • Translate and support the LHG sustainability vision within Brussels Airlines.
  • Develop and promote sustainable goals and KPI’s using the OKR model at company level and also at division and department level.
  • Based on our goals, build the appropriate strategy allowing the company to reach the set targets.
  • KPI’s & reporting: follow up on the metrics & on the departments on how to further improve company results. Ensure that sustainability performance can be measured and communicated upon internally and externally.

Stakeholders alignment

  • Align internal stakeholders on business sustainability goals .
  • Build an internal/external communication plan in close collaboration with the communication team and follow up on it.
  • Build and foster a strong external partnership network (internally and externally).
  • Work in close collaboration with the Public Affairs and Aeropolitical departments.
  • Build a Sustainability champion structure within all departments.
  • Prepare and support discussions for the MB & EMB but also towards the different departments.

Project & Change Management

  • Based on the LHG- and Brussels Airlines ambitions, build a roadmap.
  • Manage a portfolio of diverse projects & initiatives & follow up.
  • Implement and lead sustainable projects and programs. Anticipate issues within projects, work together with project leads towards finding solutions or ideas & escalate when required.
  • Integrate sustainability within Brussels Airlines Governance.
  • Operate a cultural shift to ensure sustainability become part of our DNA.
  • Implement change management and continuous improvement at the level of sustainability.
  • Develop methodologies to assess the viability or success of sustainability initiatives.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainability programs.

Profile

  • Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project management or complex transversal topics
  • University degree or equivalent is an asset
  • Experience in building and implementing Sustainable strategy is an asset
  • Project management skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Stress resistant / reliable / discrete.
  • Ability to synthesize & prepare high level presentations, ability to change perspectives.
  • Strong organizational skills – multitasker.
  • Strong ability to connect and build partnership.
  • Able to motivate/inspire involved stakeholders to successfully drive the change using a range of soft skills.
  • Logical and fact-driven.
  • Comfortable with figures & analytical skills.
  • Able and willing to challenge the status quo.
  • Persuasive and comfortable in dealing with all type of communities (senior management, external parties, operational and customers facing people).
  • Action oriented, drive to find solutions and focused on results/ outcomes rather than process.
