Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Demand Planning
- Captures historical info and establishes sales forecasts at European level for a group of assigned products.
- Carries out thorough detailed analysis of market dynamics, category shares and sales forecasts.
- Works closely with the Marketing Manager and constantly advises on product opportunities, potentiality and distribution
- Constantly develops and updates forecasting models at the light of new market trends and dynamics.
- Carefully calculates the impact on sales should a key account list or delist a product or product range.
- Continuously collects and consolidates forecast information issued from different departments.
- Follow up of sales contracts with the sales offices.
- Translate the demand plan to purchase orders towards our Vendors.
- Follow up closely that requested delivery dates are respected.
- Create and follow up special volume orders.
- Create and maintain good relationship with Vendors through close follow up and make them aware that you have control.
- Produces very professional material for the consensus meetings.
- Evaluation report (delivery performance report) of the Vendors.
- Follows up on the SKU status. Continuously updates product status in SAP based on products life-cycles.
- Creates pre-selling and phase in/out seasons in SAP.
- Ensures that market by market introductions are processed very accurately in SAP and that a delivery date is assigned to each country.
- Responsible for specials and volume requests belonging to the assigned categories. Checks lead times together with Supply Chain.
- Confirms lead time to sales office.
- Processes accurate orders in SAP.
- Reports contracts and open order status.
- Downloads lists from SAP and generates accurate and timely open sales orders reports.
- Possess outstanding analytical skills.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Continuously pay strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Have excellent organisational skills.
- Be pro-active and show problem-solving skills.
- Show the ability to perform well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to a multicultural environment.
- Demonstrate the ability to adapt to a changing environment.
- Possess excellent knowledge of English.
- Have advanced Excel capabilities
