About Our Client

Our client is a world-leading company active in the manufaturing sector (automotive).

Job Description

As a Demand Planner you’ll be responsible to create the forecast based on relevant market information, that allows a company to accurately gauge demand for its products, and effectively organize resources, supply & production plan to meet the demand.

Tasks
  • Lead Motorcycle business line demand forecasting process in collaboration with HQ sales, LSCM and regional teams
  • Work closely with Product Management and Sales, provide volume estimations for new Passenger tires product launch business cases, assessing market demand growth, reflecting on competitiveness and company targets
  • Ensure alignment and collaboration with various stakeholders such as regional demand planners, sales and supply chain and finance on monthly forecast cycle, as well as budget processes
  • Provide demand outlook summary and analysis and release of unconstrained demand reports on regular basis in order to support HQ Demand Planning Leads and Regional Demand Planner during forecast cycle
  • Produce monthly forecast error and bias analysis and collaborate with regional demand planners to improve forecasts accuracy continuously
  • Identify major progress areas in demand planning tool and process, work with technical OMP support team to implement continuous improvement projects that can bring better forecast accuracy
The Successful Applicant

We are looking for a Demand Planner that has :
  • a Business, Management Engineering, Industrial Engineering degree or equivalent
  • 2-5 years of work experience in Demand Planning / Supply Chain Planning
  • Is fluent in English; excellent written and verbal communication skills with high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
  • has the ability to translate numbers into insights, and present them to stakeholders in an easy-to understand manner.
  • Is proficient in Microsoft Office Excel
  • Demand planning tool knowledge (OMP) is a plus
  • Experience with big data/analytics is a plus
