Are you an amazing Digital Workplace Technology Unified Communication Squad Lead eager to join our IT department,based in our Braine l’Alleud office in Belgium?

As a Digital Workplace Technology Unified Communication Squad Lead you will define and be accountable for the implementation of the different technology plans defined into the Digital Workplace Technology Team roadmap. As Subject Matter Expert, the role will able you to make time and cost estimates for the different implementation activities.

This role will have to work closely with his direct reports in order to influence the technology roadmap but also to understand the business requirements to deliver value for patients.

You will contribute by:

  • Acting as Service Owner on the Unified Communications Solutions (UCaaS)
  • Driving the activities of the Digital Workplace Technology team roadmap focusing on the end user communications channels (e.g. Teams calls & video’s, Internal Webinars, Live Web conferences…) and devices (e.g. common area phones & analog phones)
  • Developing a unified communication strategy that delivers productive & positive digital employee experience.
  • Translating the strategy into a tactical & consistent launch plan for the multiple technologies
  • Harmonizing the product & services portfolio within the unified communication ecosystem.
  • Being responsible for the roadmap for the unified communication area. Developing and maintaining the roadmap to deliver clear business value.
  • Transforming the operational models to make it consistent, resilient, and future-proofed
  • Recommending program/project approaches and submit time and cost estimates
  • Understanding business requests for service enhancements and undertakes cost evaluation, standards review and prioritization
  • Developing and manage expenses within approved budgets
  • Driving the implementation of the technology plans in order to deliver superior user experience
  • Following up closely with the delivery team the correct ‘on-the-field’ implementation of the multiple solutions.
  • Leading, planning and managing business / solution design, configuration, implementation, and qualification
  • Acting as a Subject Matter Expert: understands in depth the Unified Communication area of technology
  • Creating employee awareness, adoption and excitement by creating change management activities related to Unified Communications ecosystem
  • Providing leadership and direction to a team that consists in internals, externals and offshore resources
  • Ensuring a consistent E2E support experience across the portfolio.
  • Closing partnership with Global Service Desk team to ensure processes exist to support efficient call resolution and call escalation
  • Ensuring smooth service transition to the IT Operations Center of Excellence
  • Building partnership among key stakeholders and technology partners to support hybrid work and manage the ecosystem of partners (contract management, vendor management,…)
  • Leading the Unified Communications team (internals & externals) following the agile methodology

Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:

  • A Minimum 7-8 years’ experience in:
  • An IT/Telecom regulatory environment
  • Developed in depth Telecommunications/Unified Communication landscape (MS Teams Direct Routing, Voice Services, SIP Trunk, ISDN, DDI Management, Call & Contact Centers, Audio & Web Conferences, IP Telephony Devices)
  • As an option - Has developed in expertise in Microsoft cloud technology landscape (Office 365: SharePoint online, Teams, Yammer, OneDrive for Business, Skype for Business Online, Exchange Online,…) for both technical and functional capabilities
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships outside IT
  • Data Analytics expertise
  • Deep expertise in IT platform management
