What you’ll do

  • You will join the Medical Acceptance team within the Support Operations department Life Broker who handles the acceptance of death and disability cover.
  • You will be responsible for ensuring optimal customer service through fast and quality management in a field that is always evolving.
  • You will be responsible for initiating and monitoring the implementation of the policy.
  • You will be responsible for the initiation and follow-up of medical files for new applicants as well as for management actions that require medical acceptance.
  • You will ensure the initiation and follow-up of files in order to also carry out a
financial acceptance.
  • You will apply a correct acceptance policy to the files.
  • You will take the decision to request additional medical information and subsequently you will analyse these medical reports and, if necessary, include exclusions and/or surcharges, or to decline the risk.
  • For files that require it, you will work in collaboration and consultation with the
AG’s medical advisor.
  • You will answer questions from policyholders, brokers, doctors and our sales team, both in writing and by telephone, but also from our sales staff, and this in both national languages.

Who we’re looking for

  • You are fluent in English, Dutch and French
  • You completed a Bachelor or Master degree in a medical/financial field
  • A broader knowledge and/or experience in Medical acceptance is mandatory
  • You have excellent communication skills
  • You have strong strategic analysis skills
  • You are autonomous, result oriented, organised and analytical
