Together, we’re pioneering the future of science and medicine, developing products that enable researchers in the fight to save lives.We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer who will be remote-based and preferably located inEast Belgium and will support Luxembourg & Belgium.Our FSE will be responsible to maintain, install and repair Sciex products at both internal and external customer sites, including strategic accounts. This position works independently to resolve all assigned customer and technical issues.Primary Responsibilities
  • Completes and successfully pass assigned training tasks on assigned products and responsibilities
  • Enhance his/her working knowledge of Sciex and OEM products
  • Perform high quality installation, repair and maintenance on Mass Spectrometry instruments
  • Assigned and responsible for customer satisfaction at strategic accounts
  • Performs IQ/OQ and other qualification products. Includes training.
  • Mentors and trains lesser experienced staff members
  • Experienced in HPLC installation and maintenance
  • Performs preventive maintenance on select products
  • Demonstrates and completes all administration duties
  • Maintains own tool and parts inventory to ensure adequate supply
Our expectations:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry ideally
  • Prior experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instruments is of advantage, as well as solid understanding of electrical and electro-mechanical technology
  • English, French and Dutch proficiency is required
  • Solid understanding of troubleshooting and problem-solving procedures
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal
  • Works independently and as part of team
  • Travel required / valid driver’s license
