Robert Half Talent Solutions is currently looking for a Finance and Administration Managerfor a permanent position based near Leuven.

Our client is a fast growing group of industrial companies, with operations in Belgium, France and Germany.

As Finance Manager and Administration Manageryou will be responsible for:

  • Managing and overseeing local accounting, as well as accounting in France and Germany (no knowledge of the French and German accounting is required);
  • Providing monthly financial reporting(s) to the Management;
  • Harmonization and improvement of the reporting tools;
  • Presenting financial reports to management and other stakeholders;
  • Leading the Group budgeting and forecasting processes;
  • Participating to the definition of a long term strategy and its translation into a long term financial plan;
  • Acting as a business partner for local teams, providing insight and recommendations to both short-term and long-term growth plan of organization;
  • Provide financial advice and support to the management and business during business critical events, e.g. investment decisions, development of new business solutions, potential acquisitions;
  • Supporting the Management in better understanding the performance drivers as well as in identifying points of attention to increase the overall business performance;
  • Cash-flow management and forecasting;
  • Banking relationships and debt-optimization;
  • Occasionally participate in M & A processes with M&A advising firms (target search and analyses, deal structuring, company valuation, etc.);
  • The optimization/uniformization of existing processes and procedures;
  • Point of Contact for the ERP programmers financial aspects;
  • Oversee and manage several administrative aspects of the companies such as subsidies, insurances, legal publications, etc.

The required profile for the Finance and Administration Managerposition:

  • At least 10 years’ of relevant experience in controlling or audit and controlling or at least 5 years in a similar position;
  • Master Degree in Finance / Business;
  • Fluent in French and/or Dutch with an operational knowledge of the other national language;
  • Fluent in English;
  • First experience in people management would be an asset;
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, agile and at ease in evolving/transforming environments;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills both verbally and written;
  • Being able to engage and develop strong relationships across all levels of the company;
  • IT minded as you will be the point of contact of ERP Programmers;
  • An analytical mindset.
