Finance Analyst E&M

ABOUT THE JOB

Your work as E&M Finance Analyst Western Region includes the following tasks:

• Further develop analytics of the P&L movements for the three entities – TUI Airlines Belgium, TUI Airlines Netherlands & Tec4Jets
• For the airlines: perform a flash investigation/check, once the reports are completed. As well as deep dive into operational data behind MX reserves, Supply chain, DOC Costs and support the management information provision for the consolidated Finance E&M reporting pack.
• For T4J: further develop the T4J Business Pack (already initiated) and widen analysis for monthly meetings – flag potential risks.
• Assist in the budget process (spring period ) with meaningful analysis and investigation of the existing trends.
• Be responsible for an accurate and timely deliveries on the MX reserves, C-check, intra WR recharges and HFM calculation.
• Maintain a strong controls framework including timely reconciliation of the calculated results with the commentaries.
• Ensure reconciliation between local reporting and group reporting

ABOUT YOU

• Previous airline experience

• Good knowledge of the aircraft maintenance planning, types of checks, etc.

• Knowledge of the main accounting principles

• Department-specific IT knowledge, work with Excel and MS Teams

• Very good knowledge of English

• Good communicator – liaise with central teams – often communicate via virtual platforms (e.g. MS Teams)

• Analytical thinking

• Organizational skills

• Ability to work under time pressure during month end financial closure
