About the Position

The position is based in Brussels and opened in September 2025.

The Financial and Control Manager will be directly reporting to the local General Secretary (Chief Financial Officer - CFO).

The Financial and Control Manager for Nickel Belgium will be the right arm of the CFO and will assist him regarding the management of the Finance department (Accounting support and Management Control) and will be also responsible for the permanent controls of the activity.

Your main missions will be:

• Control of the incoming/outgoing documents and preparation of the treatment by the shared service center.
• Control of the accounting production to ensure the accuracy of the financial statements, the transactional accounting being done in a shared service center.
• Monitoring of the analytical accounting and ensure each department is correctly impacted.
• Control and overseeing the cash flow of the company and ensuring it has the appropriate treasury controls.
• Participate to the budget and strategic planning with the CFO.
• Ensure compliance with Belgian rules and regulations on tax and financial regulatory reporting and produce the regular reporting in coordination with our local accounting counselors.
• Manage the External Auditor relationship.
• Oversee the accounting control reporting to BNP Paribas Group (FACT) and to Nickel’s Group in France.
• Produce analysis at Management’s request and implement various global controls plan if needed.
• Assist the local OPC around financial control to perform by checking the timings and efficiencies of the controls.
• Develop the usage of automated reporting facilitating the recurrent work in coordination with central Nickel teams.

For the financial mission you will be working very closely with the accounting Services Shared Center (SSC) located in Madrid. You will be the contact who will provide the local accounting and financial support, and who will ensure the control and validation of the end of month/year closing. You will also participate in the financial planning and management control. Regular missions in France and Spain are to be expected.
