We’re looking for a talented Senior Financial Corporate Tax Consultant to join our Tax & Legal Services department as part of our Tax Accounting team within our offices in Ghent, Antwerp or Brussels ..
What you’ll learn and do

- Consulting and assistance in the context of mergers and acquisitions, transfer pricing (e.g. business restructurings) and initial public offerings or other transactions

- Consulting and assistance in regulatory inquiries or audits by tax authorities

- Review annual corporate income tax returns or transfer pricing documentation

- Corporate Tax provisioning and forecasting

- Preparation or review of IFRS, US GAAP or local GAAP reporting and other corporate income tax obligations and positions

- Consulting and assistance with the implementation of tax software or procedures to optimise the tax function

- Audit income taxes: tax provisions from individual entities to consolidated multinational groups

- Review international tax planning and its impact on (consolidated) financial statements

- You will assist and support (large) companies with a variety of interesting tasks and challenges.

- As a Senior Financial Corporate Tax Consultant you will work in a dynamic team and also coach Junior Consultants.
Who you are

Master’s degree in economics (or commercial engineer) or law.

An additional qualification in tax.

Two to five years of experience in a (similar) tax job.

The ability to analyse complex problems and present them in a concise form.

Excellent writing skills.

A real team player who’s committed, flexible, accurate and eager to learn.

Well organised and you can work towards tight deadlines.

Agility in IT is a valuable asset.

Client-oriented and good social skills.

Able to express yourself fluently in English and in Dutch and/or French.

Interested in continually striving to deepen your technical know-how.
