Our client, an international Sales & Distribution company with its regional HQ in Brussels, is urgently looking for a freelance Regional Manager Compensation, Benefits & Mobility for a period of 5 months starting September 2021.
Key responsibilities will include:
- You will manage, safeguard and review the EMEA compensation, benefits and mobility plans and policies in line with the company’s global policy and local requirements.
- You will be the first point of contact and advisor for the HR Business Partners in the EMEA region, advising them on the applied policies and ensure strategic alignment and consistency of approach in the group. You will identify and clarify country specific compensation programmes to drive employee engagement, value and business growth.
- You will actively participate and provide guidance to the HRBPs in the job evaluations and methodologies based on the Towers Watson method.
- You will contribute to the annual compensation infrastructure roll-out (budgeting, annual performance and compensation review, provide benchmarking).
- Advise on the domestic and international mobility policies, covering the relocation of employees in the EMEA region or internationally.
- Contribute to the preparation of the renewal of the net allowance ruling.
- Report and work closely with the Global Head of Reward, the 4 members of the Group’s Compensation & Benefits team and the HRBPs in the region.
Your Profile:
- You are a freelance professional with a proven background in compensation, benefits and mobility management.
- You have solid knowledge of position evaluation methodologies. Knowledge of the Towers Watson method is a plus.
- You have experience servicing several countries of the EMEA region.
- Solid knowledge of mobility practices (international taxation, social security, contact with external vendors).
- You have a strong service and consultative attitude. You clarify statements in a structured manner and can influence stakeholders with the right arguments.
- You are well organised, analytical, and have strong numerical skills.
- You have an eye for quality and work towards solutions that are compliant with the company policies.
- You have strong Excel skills- pivot table v-look ups. You are able to create an manipulate data sets and formula’s.
- You are able to take on a role quickly and ensure excellent continuity.
- You speak and write English fluently.
- You are available to start this assignment mid-September at the latest.
