Organization:

One of the world’s leading manufacturers and marketers of quality consumer products. Global organization with an international Belgium located site as a key global production and distribution center for the company.

Responsibilities:

  • The project lead manages and co-ordinates the technical aspects of all projects under the masterplan program. This co-ordination includes local co-ordination (cross-project and with local stakeholders) and global co-ordination (with global teams and users).
  • The project lead will have a sound knowledge of the technical aspects involved in logistics and production in an operations plant in a multinational environment. This includes but is not limited to GMP, Ex, sustainability, LEED, WELL, machine safety, fire prevention and logistics.
  • The project lead will represent all engineering & maintenance departments in the site master plan meetings and will assure alignment within these departments and a thorough understanding of their needs and requirements.
  • The project lead typically works alongside other engineers in an office setting, withregular travel to project sitespotentially needed as well. This professional generally works during regular business hours, although additional and/or alternative hours may be required depending on project deadlines and the needs of the business.
  • The project lead must have a good understanding of project management, financial management and budgeting, as well as have good communication and teamwork skills.

Profile:

  • Bachelor or Master degree in engineering, life / bio science
  • Senior profile: relevant working experience
  • Strategical and corporate high-level communication skills
  • Experience in the are of Brownfield project
  • Good understanding of operational environment within a multinational company
  • GMP – Atex - Sustainability
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organizer, motivator
