BEA is looking for aHead of Group Marketing to manage and drive the group marketing strategy for BEA’s product portfolio - aligned with the company’s overall goals.He/she is responsible for the development and execution of strategic product marketing plans that differentiate BEA’s sensor technology from competitors and position the company and its brands as a leader in the industry, whilst supporting Top Line growth and Gross Margin growth.
This position owns and leads product portfolio leadership and works closely with all Marketing and Product Development teams to manage the product lifecycle.
He/She plays a pivotal role in the timely execution of product development initiatives and drive customer segmentation, product awareness, customer specifications, and support sales and marketing efforts across various markets and segments.
The role provides leadership of a multifaceted team responsible for driving global marketing strategies, ensuring product compliance, and managing intellectual property assets.
TheHead of Group Marketing drives a team that guides marketing efforts for BEA by understanding regional markets realities, identifying projects with the highest value and supporting initiatives to continuously optimize our product offering and ensure sustainable growth at global level.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Marketing & Product Roadmap:
- Own a consolidated product development roadmap to forecast business evolution.
- Build a consolidated “step-by-step” roadmap for digital products, stabilizing user experience and gathering market feedback to improve proximity with installers.
- Understand and challenge the potential and limits of key products and technologies to maximize their utilization.
- Help regions transform their goals and objectives by providing transversal support with a solution-oriented mindset.
- Drive Product Portfolio Management:
- Oversee the global Product Portfolio.
- Support the most profitable New Product Development (NPD) projects by comparing project opportunities and reflecting on the desired roadmap.
- Encourage and scope maintenance and optimization efforts for existing profitable products.
- Drive a product phase-out roadmap for less profitable/older products.
- Ensure that each local initiative is executed with a global scope and approach. Act as a facilitator when needed.
- Define product platforms to facilitate future product development around specific technologies.
- Manage Intellectual Property and Product Compliance
- Drive initiatives related to Intellectual Property to support short- and long-term strategies across regions.
- Lead initiatives related to Product Compliance to support short- and long-term strategies across regions.
- Global Alignment and Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Foster collaboration and communication between various technical and product marketing teams to facilitate knowledge sharing and cross-functional problem-solving.
- This includes regular contact with local Marketing and PM teams and driving best practices and sharing success stories.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and processes linked to the product portfolio, ensuring adherence by all team members globally and locally.
- Serve as a dedicated customer advocate by consistently representing the customer’s perspective at the Group Level across all regions and segments.
- Regularly visit Business Units to gather direct customer feedback and insights, ensuring their needs are accurately reflected in product strategies and developments.
- Collaborate closely with local Marketing Directors to align regional marketing efforts with the overarching customer-focused goals.
- Team Leadership & Development:
- Lead, inspire and give guidance to the team.
- Retain or recruit and performance manage the team by conducting regular performance evaluations and providing feedback to team members to support growth and development.
- Quality & Sustainability:
- Manage and develop the ISO 9001 process & participate in the continuous improvement of processes.
- Lead initiatives related to ISO14001 certification and sustainability, aligning product marketing strategies with environmental stewardship goals.
- Security & safety :
- Ensure adherence to safety protocols, protect strategic information, and enforce data security measures in line with corporate guidelines.
- Master (Engineering – Marketing - Management)
- Minimum 8+ years of Marketing leadership experience within the technology domain.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
- Knowledge of project management tools (Wrike, Miro, Bluestar…)
- Knowledge of business intelligence software (BI/Qlik)
- Documentation and process management skills (SharePoint)
- French: Professional proficiency or native speaker (C2)
- English: Professional proficiency or native speaker (C2)
- Ability to develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company’s vision and goals.
- Guiding, inspiring and developing talent, which includes setting clear goals, providing direction, motivating team members, and fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including engineers, designers, marketers, and salespeople, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to analyze complex issues and make informed decisions.
- The ability to facilitate, influence (without authority) and persuade, including building consensus, articulating compelling arguments, and leveraging data and evidence to support recommendations.
- Adaptability and flexibility are crucial to allow adjustment of plans and strategies as needed.
