For our client, an international growing engineering company with headquarters in Hasselt, we are currently looking for an: HR Business Partner

An all-round, hands on HR professional who loves working in a growing high-tech sector

Function:

  • As an HR Business Partner you ensure proper understanding and implementation of HR programs like recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee survey, retention, calibration etc.
  • You act as a coach to managers and first point of contact for employee questions.
  • You collaborate with the finance department and external partners for all programs and changes impacting payroll, contracts, pension plan, company cars, bike lease and international mobility such as work permits, visas, travel letters etc.
  • You work closely with the marketing team on employer brand initiatives, play a key role in employee experience and continuously improve HR processes.
  • You will be part of a dynamic global HR team and report to the Director Culture & Talent, located in Canada.
  • In Hasselt, you will work directly with the VP and the other members of the MT, which you will also be part of.

Profile:

  • You are an HR generalist with 5 to 10 years of experience in many facets of human resources, preferably in a multinational company.
  • You have a good knowledge of the Belgian labor law; knowledge of international mobility, BambooHR and SmartRecruiters is an asset.
  • You are an autonomous, pragmatic and pro-active worker who adapts to constant changes, typical for a growing company.
  • You are good at managing processes, you can easily switch between different tasks and you know to prioritize.
  • You are a strong communicator, fluent in Dutch and English; German is an asset.
