Overview:

As HR Business partner” you “are the eyes of the organization”, you are responsible for managing the day-to-day operations with regards to our HR data and reporting SAP Employee Central and other related tools, including performance management derivatives have no secret for you. You will be pioneering some of these reports and this with a global mindset. In addition, you lead the company to work on a new approach in Workforce planning and so enable our business leaders to make more informed decisions with regards to our future talents outlook. Initial scope includes the HR support of our Manufacturing Plant in Erpe-Mere, Belgium and our Engineering center of excellence in Sint-Niklaas but can rapidly expand.

The role is based in Sint-Niklaas but the reach is global and opportunities will arise to reach out to the Global team on the Digital acceleration of our data.

You will be reporting to the Head of HR EMEA
Responsibilities:

As our HR Business Partner, you will:

  • Be responsible for EMEA data and reporting authority
    • Be the center of expertise with regards to employee data and reporting
    • Lead and counsel on the digital HR processes
    • Manage compliance with regards to GDPR and Data Privacy regulations in a Global organization
    • Act in line with the local social legislation and have proven knowledge in this matter
  • Be responsible for the Employee lifecycle management
    • Lead the on-boarding/off-boarding program in Belgium and EMEA with a global focus seeking interdependencies and synergy opportunities
    • Help and facilitate the business managers with all different type of HR matters (development plan, improvement plans, career paths, succession planning,...)
  • Be a compensation and Benefits enabler
    • Manage the day to day requests regarding compensation& benefits (future payroll manager resp)
    • Ensure compliance and robustness of the C&B strategy implementation in Belgium
    • Identify regional and global opportunities for continuous evolution and improvement in C&B in close collaboration with the payroll manager
  • Be the back up for the HR Plant BP role
    • Be the back up for the HR tasks in our manufacturing operations during vacation or other absences including the ER/LR interactions.
Qualifications:

As a prerequisite to become our HR Business Partner, you:

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in HR or Business, or proven experience in a similar environment.
  • Have a minimum of 5 years HR expertise in HRIS systems and C&B, with a focus supporting Belgium-based workforces
  • Are experienced in
    • Working with SAP Employee Central/Successfactors Suite (or keen on absorbing the tool)
    • Working in a large, multi-national company preferred
    • Operating in a rapid expanding dynamic environment
  • Are fluent in English and Dutch, both oral and written
  • Are able to work with highly confidential, sensitive information
  • Have exceptional attention to detail
