Job Description
Sibelco is a global leader in material solutions. Location: Based ideally from Sibelco’s global HQ office in Antwerp, but with the possibility of other locations in key Sibelco countries (such as Spain,ItalyorPoland) if within reasonable distance to our offices in those countries.
Positioning:This position reports to the CoE Lead Rewards, System & Data
Role Purpose:As part of the Compensation & Benefits team, the HRIS Manager acts as an individual contributor and is responsible for the implementation and supervision of the daily operation of our HRIS as well as ensuring continuous improvement on Sibelco HRIS landscape.
As group HRIS Manager, the main responsibilities are acting as data governor for employee master data, ensuring HR processes are developed in HRIS in the most efficient and effective way, adjusted to group policies and principles while remaining fully compliant with all local legislation.
The HRIS manager also ensures the organization is trained and supported in the use of HRIS and acts as a liaison between HR business and IT when it relates to system development or system integrations.
Responsibilities for the role will include but are not limited to:
Continuous Improvement:
- Work alongside the HR team, Operating Model team and IT department to seek for continuous improvement of HR processes.
- Constantly seek for ways to increase efficiency in HR processes by further developing and finetuning HRIS processes.
- Identify risks or opportunities and recommend changes to processes which improve the delivery of HR Services to the organization.
Data Management:
- Act as a data governor for employee master data, maintaining data integrity.
- Ensure all users are registering employee data accurately and on time.
- Perform data audits to identify and address data issues.
- Increase data awareness across the organization.
- Support enablement of data driven decision making for the business.
- Ensure new developments or security updates remain compliant with data protection laws.
Analysis & Reporting:
- Develop and enhance HR reporting in Workday, including development of dashboards for reporting key metrics.
- Receive and interpret all report requests from internal customers, develop training for end users on self-service reporting and dashboard consultation.
- Liaise with BI specialist on integration of Workday with Power BI for consolidation of reporting of HR metrics in consolidation with metrics from other departments impacting the group management dashboard.
HRIS Support:
- Support management on structural policy matters related to HRIS.
- Handle day-to-day end user support by monitoring the issue log, provide solutions, train end users on issue resolutions and escalate to IT when and where required.
- Act as point of contact and supervise day-to-day activities within the HRIS System (Workday).
Knowledge management and training:
- Update and develop new HRIS process documentation, trainings and Quick Reference Guides for end users so that using HRIS will become user intuitive for the end users.
- Regular host info session on HRIS for HR and potentially also for other end users in the future.
Release roll-out:
- Together with the system administrator from IT perform the analysis of the bi-annual releases from Workday on the organisation’s Workday tenant. On selectable updates, make proposals to the HRIS steering team on updates that could increase efficiency on HR processes within the organization and which could mean a significant improvement of the Workday system usage.
- Ensure a risk/opportunity analysis is performed enabling the HRIS steering team to make a quick decision.
- Perform regression testing in preparation of the new releases moved to production.
Workday Administrator roles:
- Act as HR Administrator within Workday, supporting the team with setting up supervisory organizations, process rescinding, delegation issues, running mass upload when identified as need by HRLT, ensure correct and accurate data load in M&A files.
- Co-act as Compensation Administrator/Training administrator with other domain specialists within the organization to support them in setting up and running recurring processes such as Goal setting, performance review, talent assessments, compensation review etc.
About you:
- You have a minimum of 5 years prior experience with at least 3 years of HRIS experience OR certified in Workday.
- You have a bachelor’s degree in HR Management or IT.
- You have experience in Workday, Workday Reporting.
- Knowledge of/experience in other workday modules is an asset
Finally, you are self-motivated, proactive, able to work independently with strong verbal and written communication skills.
