Role Summary

Our client is seeking a Manager, Human Resources who will collaborate with HR team members supporting Northern Europe along their global HR Centres of Excellence in Talent, Total Rewards, HR Technology & Analytics, and their HR Program Management Office to deliver the full scope HR activities in this geography.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and Align Strategy: Comprehend the business strategy and priorities of our Global Business Units (GBLs) and Global Support Services (GSSs). Translate this understanding into an integrated HR strategy for Belgium and the Netherlands, in collaboration with Global HR Centers of Excellence.
  • Full Employee Life Cycle Leadership: Oversee the entire recruitment-to-retire employee life cycle.
  • Project Delivery and Support: Lead initiatives and projects across the region (including mergers & acquisitions and HR program implementation), providing end-to-end support for successful execution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement and Guidance: Coach and guide senior stakeholders on organizational changes, workforce capabilities, talent development, and culture transformation.
  • Key HR Processes: Drive critical HR processes, including performance management and merit planning.
  • Country/Region Engagement: Collaborate with Site Leaders and Business Leaders to foster employee engagement within the country/site.
  • Stay Informed and Identify Talent: Keep abreast of regional highlights (business activity, employee morale) and identify key talent.
  • Data-Driven Decision-Making: Monitor essential HR indicators and use them to inform decisions.
  • Complex HR Issue Resolution: Effectively address complex HR situations within legal boundaries and in alignment with PerkinElmer Values.
  • Recruitment and Talent Selection: Lead recruitment processes to support business needs and organizational growth.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Work with the Total Reward team to develop and maintain competitive compensation and benefits programs.
  • Legal Compliance: Ensure compliance with labour laws and collaborate with internal/external legal counsel to anticipate legislative impact and follow through.

Job requirements

  • Fluent in Dutch
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in Human Resources in the Netherlands and Belgium.
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience working and negotiating with Works Councils, Unions and other third-party employment groups.
  • Flexible to work from home and on-site.
  • Data-driven and analytical thinker who can communicate concepts effectively to others.
  • Able to operate well autonomously, demonstrate ownership and self-sufficiency for project management.
